Oh, To Be A Kid

With the GREAT weather today I decided it was time to get out of the house and enjoy the sun!  After my son's speech therapy we came home and had lunch then went out to the park.  We spent more then an hour there swinging, going down slides and saying hi to every kid that came close to him.  He then decided that it was a good idea to go up and down the steps with muddy shoes.
 While walking up his foot slipped and he fell and hit his cheek on the steps. When he started crying I ran over to comfort him and thought it was best to go home to get a better look at it.  We started to head for the car and all Colt could do was say "play", not just say it but yell it.  He could have cared less about his cheek hurting or the bruise forming (don't worry he is fine).  He just wanted to go back and play!  Oh to be a kid!While walking up his foot slipped and he fell and hit his cheek on the steps.
